Dolores Anderson, 93, Minot, formerly of Donnybrook, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, in her home at Edgewood Vista.

Dolores Flaten was born February 14, 1930, the daughter of Lars and Anne (Erickson) Flaten, in Carpio. She was raised and educated in Carpio, where she was baptized and confirmed at the St. John’s Lutheran Church rural Carpio.

On November 4, 1947, Dolores was united in marriage to Robert Anderson November 4, 1947, in Minot. They made their home in Donnybrook where they lived and farmed for over 50 years. Dolores worked alongside her husband with the operation of the farm and at the Mohall American Legion in Mohall. In 2002, she and her husband moved to Minot where Robert would later pass of cancer.

Dolores was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, now Carpio Lutheran, the Callahon Brighter Hope Home Makers Club and was an active bowler on several teams in Lansford and Mohall.

Dolores is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Astrid Erickson, Bertha Thingelstad, Thelma Mormon, Ruth Flaten, Glenny Danielson, Lawrence Flaten, Olaf Flaten, Sigvart Flaten, Hilmar Flaten, infant sister, Lela Flaten.

Funeral: Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Interment: Grano Cemetery, Grano.

Visitation: Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials: are preferred to Grano Cemetery.
