Bruce Benson, 63, Minot, died Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in his home.

Bruce Lyle Benson was born October 1, 1959, to Kenneth and Harriet (Leske) Benson in Minot, ND.

Bruce graduated from Minot High School in 1978 and attended North Dakota State University. He was diagnosed with mental illness as a young man, but as a devout Christian and with the help of many people throughout the years, he was able to live a good life.

Tennis, water and snow skiing, and reading scriptures were his passions.

Bruce is survived by his sister, Barbara (Dennis) Frykman of Atlanta, GA, brother, Chuck Benson of Rapid City, SD, sister-in-law Dale Benson of Houston, TX and nieces, Lindsay, Bethany and Whitney.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bob Benson.

Gathering of Family & Friends: Friday, June 9, 2023, at 11 a.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.

Memorials: preferred to Harmony Club of Minot.
