Today, our hearts are broken as we as mourn the loss of our beloved, Amanda L. Starbuck-Mattson, 44, who passed unexpectedly on June 4, 2023. Her bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will remember her warmth, love, and generosity.

Amanda Leigh Starbuck was born on March 8, 1979, a daughter of Barry L. and Vicky (Davis) Starbuck in Aurora, CO. She was raised and educated in Aurora, graduating from Overland High School in 1997. She furthered her education by obtaining a license in Cosmetology and bartending certificate.

In 2009, Amanda was united in marriage to Ken Mattson. Amanda fell in love with Michael, her son, the first time she met him when he was only one year old. She knew then and there that he was her son and would do anything for him.

She was an amazing cook, had a keen eye for design, loved socializing with friends and family, trips to the lake and family cabin in Colorado. Amanda was a loving mother, cherished wife, spirited daughter, and warm-hearted sister.

Amanda is survived by: her husband Ken, son Michael, mother Vicky, sisters Nicki and Bre.

She was preceded in death by her father Barry.

Private family services will take place.
