Peggy (Marjorie) Parizek passed away on May 7, 2023. She was born February 26, 1933, in Minot, daughter of Glenn Shea and Myrtle (Iverson) Shea. She graduated from Minot High School in 1951. Married James (Jim) Parizek in January 1953. Peggy was employed at 1st National Bank, now Norwest Bank, American State Bank, now 1st American Bank and 1st Western Bank and Trust from which she retired as trust operations officer after 33 years.
Peggy was active in several banking organizations and service clubs. She was an avid curler as was her husband. She and her women’s teams participated in many club and state championships and also national championships. She also curled mixed with her daughters and husband. She enjoyed hunting while in North Dakota and garage sales in Texas. She loved her garden and working in her yard.
Preceded in death by her husband, daughter Sandy, parents, and sisters Edythe Spang and Bette Hoiland.
She is survived by daughters, Pamela (Dave) Tweten, Terri (Ira) Rush, granddaughters; Heather, Jessica, Valerie, Leah and grandson Tyler Rush; great granddaughters Scarlet and Zadie; great grandson Andrew and several nieces and nephews.
