Lena Zerr, 100, Harvey, died Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey. Funeral services will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Harvey on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 30, from 4-7 p.m. followed by prayer service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Lena was born on December 26, 1922, near Esmond, ND to Constance and Rose (Gumeringer) Ripplinger. She married Victor Zerr on July 22, 1946, in Selz.

Lena is survived by three sons, Victor Jr. (Debbie) Zerr of Harvey, Mike Zerr of Cottage Grove, MN, Alton Zerr of Harvey; daughters, JoAnn Nutz of Mandan, Connie (Steve) Little of Ponca City, OK; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Lena was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe, Mike, John, and William; sisters, Irene, Elizabeth, Helen, and Mary; daughter-in-law, Bonny Zerr; son-in-law, Sherwood Nutz, great-granddaughter, Alexis Hein Nutz. Share online at www.hertzfuneralhomes.com.
