Fargo

Mary Feltman, 70, Fargo, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at her home of natural causes.

Mary was born January 27, 1953, in Minot, North Dakota, to Andrew and Rita (Gau) Warke. She graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 1971. She worked in San Francisco for several years before moving home to Minot and eventually graduating from Minot State University in 1984. She went on to get her CPA and moved to Fargo in 1991 to start working for the North Dakota State Auditor’s Office. She spent her entire career with the State, retiring in 2018. While working with the state, she met David Feltman and they were married on May 2, 1998, at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church, Fargo. They made their home in Fargo.

She was a faithful member of Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church, serving on the finance council, as a lay director and sacristan. She was also a member of Catholic Daughter’s and took part in various other volunteer positions.

She loved to sew, shop, read and garden, which she was very talented at. She was an excellent cook and baker, and friends and family would love to get goodies from her at Christmas time.

She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, David, Fargo, ND; aunt, Audrey Olson, Mesa, AZ; close friend, Robyn Hoffmann, Fargo, ND; and many cousins and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Sts. Anne and Joachim Endowment Fund and/or Saint Gianna & Pietro Molla Maternity Home, Warsaw, ND.

Services were held in Fargo.
