Lottie Jean Griffin, 89, of West Fargo, ND, died on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Sanford Broadway Medical Center in Fargo.

Lottie Jean was born on October 31, 1933, in Kenmare, ND, to Fergus and Margaret (Hanisch) Norrie. She graduated from Kenmare High School in 1951.

Lottie Jean was joined in marriage to Glen Griffin on August 8, 1953. She worked at Peterson Loan Company in Minot and for Western Accounting Services also in Minot.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she was active in circle, quilting, and choir. She was a member of the VFW and Women of the Moose Auxiliaries. She also did volunteer work for her church and community.

In 2019, she moved to Fargo, ND, and resided at New Perspective Senior Living, where she made many new friends.

Lottie Jean’s loving family included her two daughters, Cynthia (Paul) Van Brunt, Bemidji, MN and Judy (Dave) Hansen, Moorhead, MN; six grandchildren, twins Kris (Danae) Greek and Kim (JeNeil) Greek; Eric (Carly) Greek, Brent Greek, Samantha (Eric) Muenchow, and Evan (Shay) Bohn; nine great-grandchildren, Erin (Kundai) Mutungi, Abbey Greek, Anna Greek, Ethan Greek, McKenna (Mason) Salas, Madalynn (fiance Gavin Tudahl) Greek, Griffin Greek, Grace Greek, Alice Bohn; two great-great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Jaxon Tibbitts; sister, Barbara Spencer, Richmond, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lottie Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Fergus ‘Bud’ Norrie Jr.

Memorial Service will be at 3p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND and will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.

Burial: Rosehill Cemetery, Minot, ND.
