Betty Ring

Towner

Betty Ring was born on December 13, 1936, in Tabor, Minnesota, the daughter of Barbara and Louis Novacek. She went peacefully to her heavenly home with family by her side on March 15, 2023, at Good Samaritan Miller Pointe, Mandan, ND.

In 1954, Betty attended the University of North Dakota and graduated in 1957 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a major in English and a minor in Latin and Spanish. On August 27, 1957, she married Lyder Ring.

Those who were blessed to share in her life are her two daughters: Becky (Steve) Freije, West Fargo; and Amy (Dave) Mielke, Fargo; her three sons: Lucas (Abby), Sandusky, OH; Lynden (Tina), Mandan; and Kristian (Mary Don), Williston. 11 grandchildren; 8 precious great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lyder.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to the Towner Ambulance, St. Cecilia’s Church, or the Towner Senior Center in memory of Betty.

Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15th, at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Towner, ND, with burial in the spring in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 14th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary and vigil prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Towner.
