Lois Anthonisen

Flossmore, Ill.

Lois JoAnn Pommier was born December 28, 1941 to Victor and Bernice (Strathe) Pommier.

She graduated from Minot High School in 1960 and attended Jamestown College.

Lois married Jim (Hoss) Hauge. To this union a son was born and died in infancy.

She worked as an accountant for the railroad for many years. She then owned and operated Ottmann Tax Service in Minot.

Lois married Bill Ottmann. Their daughter, Ashley Irene, was born on October 21, 1977.

In 1985, Lois and Ashley moved to Chicago. Lois worked at Anthonisen Financial Corporation. In 1987, she married Martin Anthonisen of Flossmoor, IL.

Martin passed away in July of 2010. Lois continued working for AFC until retiring in 2018.

Family survivors: daughter, Ashley Ottmann (Mike Butler); 3 step-children; step-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Isabella) Pommier; nephew and nieces: Jeff (Nancy) Pommier, Kim (JD) Danhauer, Michelle Pommier, Mike (Gerry) Linster, Diane (Greg) Johnson, Butch (Sandy) Linster, Brenda (Randy) Jarmin, Patty Linster, Caryn (Cordell) Wold, Judy (David) Bryant, Bill Linster; and many cousins.

Preceded in death by: son, Grant Hauge; a step-daughter; parents and step-mother, Irene; husband, Martin Anthonisen; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Bill Linster; ex-husband, Bill Ottmann.

A memorial service will be held on April 14, 2023 at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home in Homewood, IL.
