Jordiene Larson, age 82 of Souris, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at a Minot hospital. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Grace Lutheran Brethren Church in Bottineau. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.

Jordiene Lou Larson was born on August 22, 1940, to George and Olivia Thorenson. She was raised near Newburg, ND, and graduated from Newburg High School. She married Arnold Larson in 1959, and the couple settled on the Larson family farm near Landa, ND, where they raised their five children.

Jordiene enjoyed life as a farm wife. She enjoyed many years of gardening, tending to her chickens, cooking, and baking. Her faith was most important. She was active in her church, held various roles in Christian women’s groups, enjoyed people, and was an excellent host.

Jordiene is survived by her husband of 64 years, Arnold Larson; Four Children: Deb (Don) Kleven, Peter Larson, Jeremy (Kalee) Larson, and Eric Larson; 14 Grandchildren: Chelsea (Preston) Page, Riley (Sara) Kleven, Jackson (Jaycee) Kleven, Jacob Larson, Jori Larson, Brady (Jodi) Wingenbach, Joseph (Tatiana) Hackman, Mariah Hackman, Olivia Larson, William Larson, Austin Wingenbach, Kelsey Wingenbach, Molly Wingenbach, Abby Wingenbach; 8 Great-Grandchildren: Leo, Max, and Liv Page, Oscar and Emmett Kleven, Dawson and Piper Kleven, Norman Wingenbach and Sister: Janice (Terry) Baumann.

Jordiene is preceded in death by her parents, George & Olivia Thorenson; daughter, Diane (Jerry) Wingenbach; daughter-in-law, Susan (Peter) Larson; sister, Jeresa Ford; and brother, John Thorenson.
