Jean Carpenter

Towner

Jean G Carpenter, the daughter of Alfred (Bud) and Nora (Thomas) Rosencrans was born on November 30, 1944. She passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby at the age of 78.

She was raised on the family ranch South of Towner where she met the love of her life, Lyle D Carpenter. Jean and Lyle were married on September 6, 1966.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Lyle Sr; children, Colleen (Rodney) Wahl of Fargo, Lyle (Darlene) Carpenter of Granville; 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Russell, Fred, Tom and Alfred; sisters, Erma Berndt, Alice Rosencrans, Edna Buer and Lois Carpenter.

Memorial services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Towner with burial in the spring in Union Cemetery, Towner.
