Evelyn Beck Ironhawk

Evelyn Beck Ironhawk, 98, of Pendleton, OR, formerly Sawyer, ND, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was born December 4, 1925 at the farm home to Albert and Martha Beck. She married Levi Ironhawk on December 29, 1965. She was a long-time teacher to Native American students in SD, CA and OR; enjoyed crafts; and loved fishing later in life with her long-time companion LaVern Van Marter. Evelyn is survived by sisters Ruth Doak, Olathe, KS; Doris Ollenburger, Hutchinson, KS; Lorene Hammerschmidt, Hutchinson, KS; Grace Vogt, Weatherford, OK; and brothers George Beck, Minot, ND; and Albert Beck, Sawyer, ND. She was predeceased by her husband Levi Ironhawk, sisters Alma Lutes and Irene Potts.
