Dale Roger Allickson—-52, Minot, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 in his home.

Dale was born on November 7, 1970 in Devils Lake, N.D. to Roger and Sharon (Wheeler) Allickson. He graduated from high school in Rugby, N.D. and attended a semester of college in Bottineau.

Dale had 25 plus years’ experience working in heavy highway construction, project quality control and project cost estimating and administration. He previously managed crews up to 20 employees and projects of estimated cost of up to $725,000.00. He had extensive experience operating large equipment.

He worked for GraTech as an aggregate superintendent, Sundre Sand & Gravel Products, Farden Construction, Earth Movers and others.

Dale was an excellent hockey player in his high school years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Dale is survived by his mother, Sharon (Jerry) Sabbe; son, Avery; daughter, Jorie Ann; sisters, Becky (Jon) Miller, Carrie (Jim) Boe and Krisiti (Eric Taylor) Allickson; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Allickson.

Per Dale’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Signing of guest book: Friday, March 17, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Burial: Will take place in the spring at the Oak Cemetery in Bottineau, N.D.
