Randy Glasoe, 70, Burlington, ND, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, in his home in Burlington, surrounded by his loving family.

Randy Scott Glasoe was born February 5, 1952, the son of Merle and Patricia (Phillippe) Glasoe, in Crosby, ND. He was reared and educated in Wildrose, ND, graduating from Wildrose High School in 1970. “Go Roses.”

Randy’s life after high school led him to Denver, CO, where he found the love of his life, Stephanie Green. In 1973, Randy and Stephanie were united in marriage in Littleton, CO. The couple returned to North Dakota and built the family home in Burlington, ND. Randy and Stephanie had two sons, Daniel and Aaron. Randy drove bus for the Des Lacs/Burlington School district and worked for the Minot Daily News for 30+ years when he retired. Stephanie passed away February 11, 2003.

He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Burlington.

He enjoyed golfing at Wildwood Golf Course, riding his side by side until the wheels fell off, and spending time with his friends at the Hacienda. Randy would seldom be seen without his partner in crime, Champ his yorkie poo. Most of all, Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, whom he was very proud of. He was most proud though of his two sons, Daniel and Aaron.

Randy was proud of all the things he worked so hard for: his house, vehicles, his bus and mostly his yard.

His loving family includes: sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Stephanie Glasoe, Burlington, and Aaron and Sarah Glasoe, Burlington; grandchildren, Ashlyn Knutson, Hayden Glasoe, Allie Glasoe and Gunner Glasoe; brothers, Greg Glasoe, Minot, Mike (Cheryl) Glasoe, Hickson, ND, and Lee (Gina) Glasoe, Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Julie (Joe) Uriell, Shawnee, KS, and Peggy (Mike) Getzloff, Fargo, ND; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie; parents, Merle and Patricia; sister-in-law, Ollie Glasoe; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Phyllis Green.

Memorial Service: Monday, February 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington.

Interment: Burlington Township Cemetery, Burlington, ND.

Visitation: Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials: are preferred to Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington.
