Dorene Haiberg, 70, Minot, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at a Minot assisted living facility.

Dorene was born on September 16, 1952 in Coteau, ND to Frank and Doris (Larsen) Schiele. She was raised on the family farm south of Flaxton, ND, and attended school in Flaxton.

After graduation, Dorene worked as a welder in Seattle, WA and then at Center, ND. Dorene was working at the nursing home in Crosby, ND when she met Bruce Haiberg. The couple were married on June 17, 1975. Dorene also worked as a taxidermist.

Dorene is survived by her son, Wayne (Sandy) Haiberg, Minot; grandson, Tyler Haiberg; brother, Doren (Janell) Schiele, Flaxton; sister, Darla (Kenneth) Kulstad, Powers Lake, ND; sister-in-law, Cindy Schiele, Cody, WY; and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Dennis and Kevin Schiele.
