Desirae E. Hauff, 66, Drake, North Dakota, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at St. Aloisius Nursing Home, Harvey, North Dakota. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Drake, North Dakota. Blake Krabseth will officiate and burial will be in the Drake City Cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Nelson Funeral Home, Drake, North Dakota.

Desirae Ellen Volk was born August 4, 1956 at Harvey, North Dakota, to Jacob and Margie (Schlag) Volk. She graduated from Drake High School. Desi married Curtis Hauff on September 21, 1974 in Drake, North Dakota. They made their home in Harvey, North Dakota. They were the parents of two sons, Bradly and Brian. In 1984, they moved to Drake and started their business, C & D Electric, where Desi served as office manager for many years. She later became the city auditor for the City of Drake.

Desirae is survived by her husband, Curtis, Drake, ND; sons, Bradly (Gwen) Hauff, Mandan, ND; Brian (Krystal) Hauff, Drake; grandchildren, Ethan and Avery, Mandan, Riley and Brady, Drake sisters, Wanda Schnase, Bismarck, ND; and Paulette (Terry) Martin, Drake, ND; and nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie and Margie Volk, and brother-in-law, David Schnase.
