Sylvia Neuenfeld, 88, Kenmare, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her home.

Sylvia was born on May 24, 1934 to Ben and Margaret (Berg) Skredsvig in Powers Lake ND. She was a graduate of Powers Lake High School.

Sylvia married Robert Neuenfeld on September 26, 1954. From this union came four children. Sylvia worked as a bookkeeper for J.C. Penney’s, Geiger Motor, and finally Kenmare Drug before retiring at the age of 82.

Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Connie (Jerry) Schmit and Kathy (Douglas) Larson; sons, Craig (Jill) and Kurt (David); 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Lyle; sister, Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a great-granddaughter; brother, Alfred (Bud); and a sister, Doris.

There will be a funeral held at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Kenmare on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 2 p.m. The service will be recorded for the public to view and can be accessed by going to https://bit.ly/3qXP5Jo. Burial will be at Bowbells Community Cemetery in Bowbells, ND later in the spring. Memorials are preferred to either the Kenmare Ambulance or the Kenmare City Bus.
