Polly loved the time over the years spent with her family during holidays, sporting events and summers at Strawberry Lake. Being at the lake was the place that made Polly the happiest. The friendships she made over the years there and watching not only her own children and grandchildren grow up at the lake, but all the children was something she loved very much. She was happiest when she was cooking them meals, she was the best at it. Polly loved cooking. Her turkey dinners on Thanksgiving will be talked about for generations as simply amazing, and Polly’s famous potato salad was known to be enjoyed and served at many family events.

Polly’s love for her dogs and all dogs was always something special and she treated them as part of the family. Polly neighbors at the lake and in Minot were always very dear to her. She was a loyal and caring friend to all that had the pleasure to cross her path and get to know her. Polly had a smile and sense of humor that was so fun to be around, and she loved to socialize, by hosting at her home or visiting others for the occasional happy hour.
