Kelly “Kel” Williams

Kelly “Kel” Williams, 36, Minot, ND, passed away December 22, 2022 at his residence.

Kelly Lynn Williams was born June 5, 1986, son of Randy and GeNell Ann (Logan) Williams, in Minot, ND. His family moved from Minot to California from 1991 until 1994 and then back to Minot where he graduated from Minot High School in 2005.

After graduation you could find Kel at the front-end department of Menards from 2005 until 2015. While he was working there, he had the opportunity to meet many friendly faces from the Minot community. After leaving Menards he started working in the electronics department at Target and was most recently working as a team member in the fulfillment department.

Kel had the best personality and was close with his family and friends. He was very tech savvy and his family’s go to person for any and all tech questions. He enjoyed building computers, computer gaming, video games, movies and was a Lego building enthusiast.

Kel had the biggest heart, and was always there for his friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

His loving family includes: Father, Randy (Mamie) Williams, Minot; Brothers, David Devine, Minot and John “JC” (Sarah) Williams, Fargo, ND; Sister, Brandi (Josh) Clouse, Minot; Nieces, Destiny Devine, Aria and Linkin Clouse; Nephews, David “Ricky”, Jr. and Devin Devine; and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, GeNell Williams; brothers, Devin Devine and Darwin Anderson; maternal grandparents, Ken and Ilean Logan; paternal grandparents Ralph and Leona Williams; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousin.

Visitation: Monday, January 2, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Funeral: Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm at The Pursuit Church, Minot.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
