John Bennett

John E. Bennett (54) Glenburn ND passed away in Tulsa OK on December 29th, 2022. John was born to Dale M. Bennett and Loretta Agnes Zeltinger Bennett in Minot ND. John grew up in Junction City/Glenridge IL and went to grade and high school in Sandoval IL. He was a brother and a friend to everyone that came into his presence. He was a jack of all trades from a truck driver, welder, farm helper, construction worker, and most of all a terrific dad. John traveled and worked in ND, FL, CA, and eventually OK where he was starting his own business. He had a passion for fishing, BBQ and especially spending time with his son. A special thank you to Scott Casler (Stacey) for helping our family through this journey. John will be greatly missed by so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

John is survived by his son Jason David Bennett and his half-sister Kylee Pedersen Owasso OK; mother Loretta Las Cruces NM; two sisters Vicki Bennett French (John Viegas) and Linda LaFon las Cruces NM; brother Brian (Ena) Bennett Glenburn ND; nephews Zack and Austin Bennett Glenburn ND; niece Nicki LaFon and son Tyler and nephews Matthew (Dedra) LaFon and Jacob (Lucy) LaFon.

John was preceded in death by Dale M. Bennett; grandparents John/Lydia Bennett; John Zeltinger and Agnes Zeltinger Avery; uncles Thomas Bennett and David Zeltinger.
