Donna M. Gagne—-68, Minot, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 in a Minot hospital.

Donna Marie Kirchofner was born on April 17, 1954, the eldest daughter of Sebastian and Rose Marie (Bachmeier) Kirchofner in Rugby, ND. She was raised and educated in Minot, attending grade school at Little Flower Catholic School, and graduated from Minot High School in 1972.

On August 9, 1975, Donna was united in marriage to Timothy Gagne in Minot, ND. They made their home in Minot, where together they raised their three sons Scott, Jason, and Jarrod. In addition, Donna worked her entire career in the dietary department. She worked for Trinity Health, Minot Public Schools, Trinity Homes and the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, retiring in 2008.

Donna enjoyed the outdoors camping, fishing, and working with her flower gardens. Spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that will be missed by all that knew her.

Donna is survived by:

Husband of 47 years, Tim; sons: Scott Gagne, Jason (Reagan) Gagne, Jarrod Gagne; three grandchildren: Eric Graham, Olivia and Finn Gagne; siblings: Debbie (Glen) Mosser, Diana Niess, Darlene (Jerome) Phillips, Denise (Mark) Larson, Darcy (Marvin) Duchsherer, Darla (Jason) Kleen; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation: Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 4 until 6 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot

Vigil Prayer Service: Thursday, January 19, 2022 at 6 pm in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, January 20, 2023 at 2 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed and may be accessed on Donna’s web page at www.thompsonlarson.com
