Roxann Rae Kraft

March 15, 1957 – Dec. 7, 2022

Roxann Rae Kraft, 65, Minot, ND, formerly of Granville, ND passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Benedictine Living Community of Garrison.

Roxann Harmon was born to Harold and Shirley (Hillerud) Harmon on March 15, 1957, in Minot, ND. She was raised in Granville and graduated from Granville High School in 1975.

She was once married to Tim Kraft. From this union, her son, Ryan, and daughter, Shelley were born.

Roxann worked in the office at Farmers Union Oil Co. of Velva and Enerbase of Minot for over 20 years. She also worked at Joan’s Hallmark. She was a member of the Oak Valley Lutheran Church in Velva.

Roxann’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandkids. Roxann was always thinking of others and had a special knack for picking out the perfect gift for those she loved. She enjoyed making baked goods or popcorn mix to share with coworkers. Roxann loved making fleece tie blankets. Over the years, she made over 80 of these blankets and shared them with her friends, family and even donated them to the Souris Valley Animal Shelter and Pinkerton Animal Hospital. She taught her grandson, Preston, how to make them. She loved animals, especially her cats. In addition, she loved spending time baking, cross-stitching, scrapbooking, decorating, and adding fine details to her elaborate Christmas village display.

In 2004, Roxann moved to Minot. She moved into Maple View Memory Care of Minot in the spring of 2015. While living here, she met a special group of ladies, including the nurses and staff who treated her like part of their family. In 2019, she became a resident of the Benedictine Living Community of Garrison. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Maple View and BLCG for the loving care given to Roxann.

Roxann is survived by her parents, Harold and Shirley Harmon, Minot, ND; children Ryan (Kylene) Kraft, Velva, ND, and Shelley (Jeff) Overbo, Elko New Market, MN; grandchildren, Preston and Mason Kraft, Kinleigh and Braelynn Overbo; Brother Randy (Lisa) Harmon, Sun Prairie, WI; nephews Reed (Anna) and Ross Harmon; numerous aunts, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and numerous aunts, and uncles.

Memorial Service: Monday, December 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Valley Lutheran Church, Velva.

Inurnment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Sunday from Noon to 3 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Family Prayer Service: Sunday at 3 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Souris Valley Animal Shelter.
