Lila M. Koenigsman

Lila M. Koenigsman, 88, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Lila M. Breiland was born July 3, 1934, a daughter of Gunder and Mabel (Scholas) Breiland, in Ryder, ND. She was raised in Minot, ND.

Lila married Joseph J. Koenigsman January 20, 1962, in Minot. After living in Missouri, Germany and New Mexico, they made their home in Minot.

Lila was an avid reader; she enjoyed volunteering. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, baking and knitting, playing board games and puzzles and loved to travel. Our sweet Mom was soft spoken with an infectious laugh with a very big heart.

Surviving family includes: Daughter, Lisa Straight (Jim Straight), Minot; Son, Alphonse Koenigsman, Minot; Daughter, Sandra Ingram, Minot; Grandson, Chale Straight; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Koenigsman; and brothers, Gerald Breiland, Eugene Breiland, Melvin Breiland and Donald Breiland.

Funeral: Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Thursday one hour prior to the service at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
