Barbara Martin

Barbara Martin, 82, of Harvey formerly of Anamoose died Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Anamoose. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Anamoose. Prayer services will be on Friday at the church at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Barbara was born on December 25, 1939 near Selz. She was the daughter of Joseph and Magdalena (Vetter) Goldade. Barbara married Anton (Tony) Martin on September 7, 1959 in Harvey. They lived on the Martin family farm north of Anamoose.

Barbara is survived by sons, Lyedell of Anamoose, Bob of Martin, Darcy of Eagan, MN, Dean of Anamoose, Tracy of Warwick, Tory of Anamoose, Darwin of Bismarck, Tony of Anamoose; 10 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, brothers; Vincent of Grand Forks, Larry of Grandin; sister, Marie Heil of Harvey. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony; brothers, Jackie, William, James, Rochus, Daniel, Peter, Raymond, and Joseph; sisters, Lena Farstad and Katherine Kline.
