Sylvester Grant

Sylvester Raymond Grant, the son of Andrew and Emma (Lafountaine) Grant was born on March 3, 1934 in Devils Lake, ND. He died at the age of 88 years on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at his home in Rugby, ND. He married Gladys Allard on September 1, 1954. He is survived by his wife; a son, Mark Grant of Rugby; grandchildren, Mike Grant, Kayla Grant and Gary Grant Jr.; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Greenwood, Rose Keplin, Sarah Domben and Ernestine Rindy. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 10 at 10:00 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in rural Belcourt with burial after in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. with rosary beginning at 9:00 a.m. visitation will continue after rosary until the time of services beginning at 10:00 a.m.
