Patrick Zeltinger

Patrick Zeltinger, 67, Kenmare, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at a Minot hospital.

Patrick was born on March 3, 1955 in Kenmare to Delbert and Eunice (Blake) Zeltinger. He was raised and educated in Kenmare, graduating from Kenmare High School in 1973. After graduation, Pat attended the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND, where he received a degree in Diesel Mechanics. He then moved to Minot for a short period to work as a diesel mechanic before returning to Kenmare to work on the family farm with his brother, Jason.

Patrick was once married to Sharon Erickson. From this union came their daughter, Shelbie.

Patrick was a man of simple taste who had a very down to earth manner about him. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his brother Jason and his family. Pat enjoyed shooting guns, but not hunting. He loved to work on snowmobiles and, in his younger years, riding on them. Pat was a board member of the North Dakota Ward County Soil Conservation Board.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Delbert and Eunice Zeltinger, Minot; daughter, Shelbie (Jason Furino) Zeltinger and grandson, Hudson, Pottsboro, TX; brothers, Lanny (Robin), UT, and Jason (Rachel), Kenmare; sisters; Nancy (Gary) Austin, WA, Marcy Zeltinger, AZ, and Joanzy, CA; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved cat, Traxx.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot. Burial will follow at Rosehill Memorial Park in Minot. Those wishing to sign the online register and share memories may access the online obituaries section at (www.thompsonlarson.com).
