Angeleah M. Bursiek,
21, Minot, formerly of
Burlington, ND, passed
away on Wednesday, Oc-
tober 19, 2022 in her
home following her coura-
geous battle with ALS.
Her loving family was by
her side.
Angeleah Margarete
Bursiek was born on Sep-
tember 24, 2001, in Minot,
ND. She was raised and
educated in the Minot
area, attending grade
school at Minot Public
Schools. Leah graduated
in 2020 from Des
Lacs-Burlington High
School, where she ex-
celled in academics and
was also a cheerleader.
Leah was an extremely
hard worker, getting her
first job at the age of 14,
working as a server at Pri-
mo Restaurant. She then
transferred to Badlands,
where she also made
many friends. Following
graduation, Leah worked
as a civilian on the Minot
Air Force Base with the
5th Force Support Squa-
dron, only leaving due to
health reasons.
She enjoyed cosmetolo-
gy, spending time at the
lake, singing karaoke, and
spending time with
“Church”, the cat. Leah
was a friend to everyone
she met, and truly en-
joyed her role as big sister
and aunt. In her younger
days, she enjoyed martial
arts with dad AJ.
She is survived by:
parents, Amanda and AJ,
siblings: Katelyn, Ariel,
Vinnie, Kinlee, Isaak and
Cyrus; grandparents
Walter E. and Theresa
Quist; aunts and uncles
Samantha Mendoza, Billy
(Jess) Quist, Mike Denton,
Tim (Steph) Denton;
cousins Christian, Isaiah,
Abe, Mimi, Asher, Luke
and Sam; best friends
Nick Pandel and Cameron
Evanoff; nephew Baby D.
Angeleah was preceded in
death by: Nanny Joan,
Papa Tony, Grandma Jam-
ie and Grandma Gigi.
Private family services
will be held.
