while he was working for
her father on the family
farm. They were united in
marriage at Mahnomen,
Minnesota on May 29,
1948. (This past May, Pat
and Duane celebrated
their 74th Wedding An-

Minnesota. They also
lived in Moorhead, Min-
nesota. In 1950 they were
blessed with a son, Rick.
In 1953 they moved to

resided in Turtle Lake un-

they moved to West Allis,
Wisconsin. Pat continued
babysitting and teaching
Sunday school. In 1970,
the family moved to West

moved to Carrington and
in the same year to Coop-

took care of her
grand-daughters for
several years, and contin-

tivities department at
Trinity Nursing Home in
Minot. After she retired,
she babysat for two chil-
dren whom she and
Duane treated like
grandchildren. She also
spent time tutoring her
grandchildren. In 2008
they moved to West Far-
go. In 2018 they entered
the St. Gerard Community
Care Center in Hankinson,
North Dakota.
Pat loved reading, play-
ing games on her iPad,
solving word finds and
other puzzles. She loved
to bake. Her fresh
