Tom Widdel

Tom Widdel, 77, life-

long Minot resident died

on August 14, 2022 in a

Minot hospital. His lov-

ing family was at his side.

Tom was well known

for his involvement in the

Widdel Bakery and Tony’s

Pizza family businesses

and as a real estate agent,

contractor (Real Builders),

oil field engineer and con-

cessionaire (Straight Con-

cessions). He was an ac-

tive member of the Inter-

national Chili Cook-off

Society and Minot

Chamber Chorale.

Tom’s loving family in-

cludes his sons: Chris and

Jeff (Desra); grandchil-

dren: Jacob, Adisynn,

Angela and Sophia and si-

blings: Jack (Yvonne) and

Judy Straight. He was

preceded in death by his

parents: John and Angela

(Gefroh) Widdel and

brother: Tim.

Mass of Christian Buri-

al: Friday, August 19,

2022 at 10:00 a.m. in St.

Leo’s Catholic Church –

Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service:

Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in

Thomas Family Funeral

Home – Minot.

Visitation: Thursday

from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00

p.m. in the funeral home.
