Darwin Nickle, 50,

Norwich died unexpect-

edly on Monday, July 18,

2022, in his home.

Darwin Carter Nickle

was born on July 11, 1972

in St. Cloud, MN to David

and Karen (Klimpel) Nick-

le. He was raised in

Norwich, graduated from

Granville High School in

1990 and from NDSU Bot-

tineau with an Associates

Degree in Ag Business. As

a young adult, he was em-

ployed by Security Fence

and later by Bechtold Pav-

ing for 27 years. More re-

cently, he was proud to

have established Nickle

Trucking Company which

allowed him to work with

his brother and nephew.

Darwin married Brandi

Knutson Lambert on Oc-

tober 26, 2013. They made

their home in Norwich.

Darwin especially en-

joyed time spent at home

with Brandi, Kayden, and

their dog Marley, farming

with his brothers, spend-

ing time with his family,

building model trucks

with Kayden, hunting,

and time spent in his

Peterbilt.

Darwin’s loving family

includes his wife of 8

years Brandi; children:

Kayden Lambert and Shea

Knutson; brother: Domin-

ic (Fran) Nickle of Deer-

ing; nephew: Devin

(Ashleigh) Nickle; great

nephew: Daxtin Nickle;

parents-in-law: Phyllis

and Gary Norman;

sister-in-law: Jana Knut-

son and several aunts, un-

cles and cousins.

Darwin was preceded in

death by his parents,

grandparents and brother:

David Nickle Jr.

from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00

p.m. in Thomas Family

Funeral Home – Minot.
