Jerry Lynn Kvame

Jerry Lynn Kvame was

born in Minot, North

Dakota to Jerome Kvame

and Marie Hurley on Oc-

tober 14th, 1959. Jerry

was the second of 8 chil-

dren, Mona Kingsley,

Jesse Kvame, Maesie

Neiss, Maxine Kvame,

Mavis Druse, Mira Kvame,

and Melinda Shelkey. The

family was raised with

horses in the small town

of Granville, North Dako-

ta. Jerry married Theresa

Aga in 1984. They had

two children, Cassie and

Jason. In later years, Jerry

moved to Port Orchard,

Washington where he

lived with his uncle David

Hurley. Jerry spend his

days in Port Orchard driv-

ing semis, riding his

motorcycle, and driving

his boat to fish in the oce-

an with his Uncle David.

Jerry was diagnosed with

cancer in 2018 which he

fought for the next 4

years. During his last

years, Jerry had the op-

portunity to live like he

was dying and live the life

that he enjoyed. Jerry died

on June 23rd, 2022. He is

survived by his children,

four grandchildren, all 7

of his siblings, and his

best friend Jack Riggs who

was there with him at the

end of his life.
