Charlotte Rampy, 95,

Minot, died Sunday, June

12, 2022, at Trinity Nurs-

ing Home, Minot.

Charlotte Louise Bros-

trom was born on Sep-

tember 29, 1926, in

Noonan, ND to Oscar and

Alma (Larson) Brostrom.

She was reared in Minot

and graduated from Minot

High School in 1944.

Charlotte was united in

marriage to John Sherman

Inches of Ryder, ND on

May 30, 1948, at the

Church of God, Minot.

They made their home in

Minot and were blessed

with three sons. John died

at age 30 on April 2, 1958.

Charlotte was em-

ployed in the accounting

industry as a secretary

and receptionist for the

Janz and Iverson Account-

ing Firm. She followed

Iver Iverson when he esta-

blished his own practice.

She was responsible for

typing the Minot city au-

dit and other reports for

many years in her own

home while she contin-

ued as mother and

homemaker. When all her

sons were in school, she

went to work at Weber

Spaulding Company in

the Midwest Federal

building. She retired in

June of 1982 to remarry.

Charlotte married Re-

verend Wallace C. Rampy

on July 3, 1982. Wallace

was a pastor in the

Church of God with pas-

torates in Moose Jaw,

Sask. Canada, Grand

Forks, ND and Longview,

WA. They returned to

Minot in the early 1990’s

to be near family due to

her husband’s health and

battle with Parkinson’s

Disease. Reverend Rampy

died on September 2,

2010.

Charlotte was a long-

time member of West

Minot Church of God, at-

tending since age five.

She enjoyed cooking,

cleaning, and spending

time with family and

friends. She and Wally

were great game players.

You could always play a

game of Chicken foot,

Uno, Dominos or Scrabble

when you were visiting.

In her later years she al-

ways had a puzzle set up

in front of the fireplace

with the Gaithers singing

in the background.

Charlotte is survived by

her children: Daniel (Eva)

Inches, Minot, Larry (Jan-

ice) Inches, Aberdeen, SD

and Ronald (Karen)

Inches, Glasgow, MT;

grandchildren: Brian,

Brett, and Brady Inches,

Becky Schneider, Ryan

Inches, Rachel Flaningan,

Laura Beckner, Steven

and Madison Inches;

great-grandchildren: Tay-

lor, Brianna, Sabreena,

Stella, Scarlet, Dean and

Will. Grace, Luke, Jayna,

Ruby, Aleda, Emily, Roy,

Cami, Havva, Silas, Na-

talie, John, Thomas and

Andrew; step children:

Rodney Rampy and Mar-

lon Rampy both of Med-

ford, OR, Judith (Free-

man) Stone, Visalia, CA;

step grandchildren: Troy

Rampy, Aaron Hixson,

Laurie Wilson, Kevin

Stone and Sasha Ferrell;

step great-grandchildren:

Hailey, Wyatt, Abigail and

Bailey; sisters: Joyce (Les-

ter) Haar, Cleveland, TN

and Darlene Holmgren,

Estevan, Sask., Canada

along with numerous

nieces, nephews and

in-laws.

Charlotte was preceded

in death by her parents,

husbands,

daughter-in-law: Chloe

Vik Inches; grandson:

Russell Inches; sisters:

Ethel Brostrom, Laverne

Wahl, Esther Wood and

Gladys Sibell and broth-

ers: Raymond, Ralph and

Archie Brostrom.
