Larry L. Anderson

Larry Anderson, 75, Des

Lacs, ND, passed away Sa-

turday, May 21, 2022, at

Trinity Hospital.

Larry was born Febru-

ary 1, 1947, the son of

Arthur and Anna

(Nygaard) Anderson, in

Crosby, ND. Larry was

raised and educated in

Flaxton, ND, and graduat-

ed from Flaxton High

School in 1966. He later

attended Minot State Col-

lege, where he graduated

with a Bachelor of Arts

degree.

Larry sold clothing for

Jay’s Men’s Store and later

3R’s. He then became a

licensed insurance agent

for Farmers Insurance

Group and owned his

own insurance agency for

35 years.

Larry married Linda

Pedersen on May 17,

1969, at Flaxton United

Lutheran Church, Flaxton,

ND. They made their

home in Des Lacs, where

they have resided since.

He was a member of

Des Lacs Methodist

Church.

He enjoyed golfing,

fishing, woodworking and

driving his Chevy pickup.

He enjoyed his time at the

Minot YMCA playing

competitive basketball.

His loving family in-

cludes: wife of 53 years,

Linda; brother-in-law,

Steven Pedersen and

friend, Corrine Krueger

and Karen (Leroy)

Bachmeier; and numerous

nieces, nephews and

cousins.

Larry was preceded in

death by his parents; his

siblings: Darvin (Darlene)

Anderson, Ione (Gordon)

Sorensen and Arthur

(Shirley) Anderson.

Funeral: Friday, May

27, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at

Vincent United Methodist

Church, Minot, ND.

Interment: Saturday,

May 28, 2022, at 10:00

a.m. at Rosehill Memorial

Park, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Thursday

from 5 to 7 p.m. at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Minot, ND.
