June Berndt was born on

April 26, 1927 in Min-

neapolis, MN. She was

the daughter of Frederick

and Gertrude (Strube)

Berndt

Lorraine is survived by

two daughters, Betty

Nyhus of West Fargo,

Donna (Clarence)

Corneliusen of Wellsburg;

son, Fred (Nancy) Meland

of Harvey; 5 grandchil-

dren; 11 great- grandchil-

dren. Lorraine was pre-

ceded in death by her

parents; brothers, Ken-

neth and Raymond; infant

twin sister Loretta; hus-

band, Lyle; daughter,

Marilyn Meland.
