educated in Crystal
Springs and assisted on
the family farm until

George and Shirley be-
gan their journey of 62
plus years of marriage on
June 19th, 1959 in Medi-

marriage involved lots of
travel and relocating
while working on road
construction for Schultz

states of ND, MT, CO, and
SD, returning to the Hil-
lius farm for the winter
months.
In 1966 they made

garage and working side
by side many hours while
raising a family. The busi-

mobile home repair, even-
tually phasing to ex-
clusively RV service in
the early 90s. George and
Shirley retired in 2002
with Todd carrying on the
business that they took
great pride in.
They led a very active
life, spending time with
family and lifelong
friends, camping, fishing,
playing cards, dancing
and traveling to polka fes-
tivals. Sundays were often
spent listening to Old
Time music on KBMR ra-
dio’s Polka Party. They
traveled to many places
around the country with
winters spent in Hawaii
