Brad Patzer, 59, of Har-
vey, ND died Sunday,
April 17, 2022 near Patzer
Truck Repair. Funeral
services will be held at
the Harvey High School
on Saturday, April 23, at
10:30 a.m. Visitation will
be held on Friday, April
22, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
at the Hertz Funeral
Home of Harvey. Burial
will be at the Sunnyside
Cemetery, Harvey.
Brad was born on April
5, 1963 in Harvey. He was
the son of Harold and
Theresa (Thompson)
Patzer. He grew up, at-
tended school in Harvey,
and graduated from Har-
vey High School in 1981.
Following graduation
Brad went to work for
Border States Paving
where he later became a
foreman and superinten-
dent of the crew. He went
on to work for Kuhn
Manufacturing in Harvey
for a time. Brad then start-
ed C&L Truck Repair in
Harvey. After short time,
he then moved to Spring
Creek, NV where he
worked for Ames Con-
struction. Brad moved
back to Harvey in 2003
and worked for Green Vi-
sion John Deere Imple-
ment. In 2016, Brad built
his dream shop, Patzer
Truck and Ag Repair in
Harvey.
Brad enjoyed fishing,
drag racing, fixing cars,
going to the casino, hill
climbing, riding his
motorcycle, and snowmo-
biling. Brad’s greatest joy
was spending time with
his granddaughter, Bray-
lee, and being the glue to
his family. Brad took great
pride in his business and
taking care of his custo-
mers day or night.
Brad is survived by his
wife, Shelia of Harvey;
daughters, Crystal (Brent)
Holzer of Harvey, Lacey
(Gustav) Grade of Martin;
granddaughters Braylee
Holzer, and one on the
way; brothers, Jeff (Mary)
Patzer of Spring Creek,
NV, Kelly (Marie) Patzer
of Elko, NV, Jamey Patzer
and his children Megan,
Nick, Nathan, Madison
and Andrew, of Harvey,
sister, Donna Patzer, Bon-
ny Lake, WA, Linda Ap-
pelt of Surrey,
sisters-in-law, Deb (Butch)
Keller of Harvey, Bonney
Lynn Faul all of Harvey;
several nieces and
nephews. Brad was pre-
ceded in death by his
parents, and good friend
