Alyce Spencer

Alyce E. Spencer, age

92 of Westhope, ND,

passed away Saturday,

April 9, 2022, at a Bot-

tineau nursing home on

the same date her mother

passed fifty six years ear-

lier.

Alyce was born July 14,

1929 in Westhope to Os-

car and Kristina Hallof of

Antler. She was the

youngest of twelve chil-

dren. Alyce married Earl

J. Spencer on January 13,

1949. They had two

daughters, Sheila (Dan)

Notestine of Lewistown,

Ohio, and Sharon (Gary)

Kirk of Westhope.

She was a very loving

wife, mother, grandmoth-

er, great grandmother, sis-

ter and “Auntie”. She en-

joyed being involved in

the Presbyterian church.

She was well known for

her hand embroidered

dish towels.

In keeping with her

wishes there will be no

funeral service. Those

wishing to honor her life

can make a donation to

the Westhope Cemetery.

Arrangements were

with Nero Funeral Home

in Bottineau. Friends
