Michael Allen Williams
Feb. 22, 1948 – Jan. 16, 2022
Michael was born to
Russell L and Alvina H.
(Larson) Williams at Trin-
ity Hospital in Minot. ND.
He graduated from
Minot Model High School
in 1966 and enlisted in
the Navy where he served
a tour of duty as a medic
in Viet Nam. Michael was
honorably discharged
from the Navy and re-
turned to Minot for a few
years before moving to
Fargo to attend NDSU and
launching his run as a
lifelong Bison fan. Micha-
el worked several jobs in
Fargo over the years and
married Betty J. (Foyen) in
1989. After her death in
2008, Michael moved to
Champlin, MN to be near
his two beloved grand-
sons, Joseph and Jacob
Anderson. They shared a
mutual adoration and he
spoiled them with his
time and unconditional
love. While the boys were
in school, Mike took to
the kitchen and started
baking banana bread and
cookies that he would joy-
fully share with everyone
he knew. In 2016 Mike
moved to Dilworth to get
back to his long-time
friends who he missed so
much.
He fought a tough 12
year battle with
Parkinson’s that took his
life on Jan 16, 2022 at St
Joseph’s Hospital in
Phoenix, AZ.
Michael is preceded in
death by his parents
Russell and Alvina; si-
blings Virginia L and Da-
vid P Williams; and wife
Betty.

er Gregory, sisters in law

chel, Vanessa, Sadie, Jake
and Dennis Williams;

and family scattered
throughout North Dakota

There will be celebra-

the spring. Please join us
