Elsie Ingerson

March 19, 1934-Jan. 10, 2022

Elsie Ingerson, Ken-

mare, ND, formerly of

Flaxton, ND, who graced

this world for 87 wonder-

ful years, passed away

Monday, January 10,

2022, at a Altru Hospital

in Grand Forks, ND with

her loving children at her

side.

Elsie Catherine Huff

was born March 19, 1934,

the daughter of William

and Sadie (McKibbon)

Huff in Carter Township,

near Flaxton, ND. She

was raised on the family

farm, and attended coun-

try school at Carter Town-

ship. Elsie graduated from

Flaxton High school in

1952, as the class Valedic-

torian. She furthered her

education by attending

the Bottineau School of

Forestry, graduating in

1954.

On June 27, 1954 Elsie

was united in marriage to

Sidney D, Ingerson in

Flaxton. Following their

marriage they lived in

Minot for a short time,

then moved to the farm at

Flaxton where they start-

ed their business, Inger-

son Manufacturing. In

1969, they moved their

family and the business to

Kenmare.

Elsie was a member of

St. Paul’s Presbyterian

Church in Flaxton, ND

until its closure. She was

an active member there

teaching Sunday School,

was the Sunday school

superintendent and a

trustee on the church

board. She also spent

several years as a 4-H

leader and was involved

with the Christian

Women’s group in Ken-

mare. She enjoyed many

years as part of the Circle

and Swing Square Dance

Club in Kenmare, and

outings with the Crimson

Cruisers Red Hat Club.

She was a devoted wife,

mother and grandmother.

She will be remembered

for her subtle sense of

humor, her sparkling Irish

eyes, and her endless

love. She will be missed

by all that knew her.

Her loving family in-

cludes: son, Duane (Di-

ane) Ingerson,; daughters,

Catherine Mesheski, Shel-

ley (Eddy) Pullen;

grandchildren, Travis

(Pam) Mesheski, Tyler

Mesheski, Ashley

(George) Dennis, Nathan

Pullen, Cherisse (Dustin)

Burns, Blake Pullen,

Mitchell (Erika) Ingerson,

Katie Ingerson; eight

great-grandchildren; one

great-great grandchild;

and numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins. She

was preceded in death by

her parents; husband Sid-

ney, in-laws Fletcher and

Julia Ingerson, sisters Ra-

chel Mullen and Leah

Langdalen; as well as

several in-laws.

Visitation: Monday,

January 17, 2022, from 10

to 11 a.m., Cornerstone

Presbyterian Church,

Minot.

Funeral: Monday, Janu-

ary 17, 2022, at 11:00 am,

Cornerstone Presbyterian

Church, Minot, ND. The

funeral service will be
