Minot, died Saturday,

January 1, 2022 in a Minot

Hospital.

Dixie was born July 18,

1970 at Minot, North

Dakota, the daughter of

Leonard and Betty

(Welsh) Friesen. She was

raised at Logan and gra-

duated from Minot High

School with the Class of

1988. Throughout the

years, she was employed

as a commercial driver for

Strata and later a heavy

equipment operator for

Falkirk Mines.

Dixie loved spending

time with family and

friends, including her

beloved dog Fin, at Lake

Sakakawea. She could be

easily recognized by her

infectious laugh and wel-

coming spirit. She was

very hospitable and gen-

erous, known for welcom-

ing friends and family

into her home. She’d give

the shirt off her back to

help someone in need.

Her loving family in-

cludes: her siblings, Gar-

net (Mark) Krebsbach,

Minot, ND, Lane (Tiffanie)

Friesen, Ronan, MT, and

Val (Cristee) Friesen,

Ryder, ND, several nieces

and nephews: Lanna

Christianson, Kelsie-lee

Lindahl, Shayne Brashear,

Lilee Friesen, Henry

Friesen, several

great-nieces, and one

great-nephew.

Dixie was preceded in

death by: her parents; sis-

ter, Krystal and her broth-

er, Jonathan.
