Minot, ND, passed away

Wednesday, January 26,

2022, at a Minot hospital.

Amy L. Thrailkill was

born July 30, 1970, the

daughter of LaMoure and

Jean (Ness) Thrailkill, in

Fargo, ND. She was raised

and educated in Minot.

She graduated from Minot

High in 1988.

Amy worked at the Ea-

gles Club in Minot for

numerous years alongside

her mom, Jean. She loved

working in the gaming

department and being

able to be around her

friends and family.

Amy married Daniel

Lucero in 1991. Together

they had two sons, Chris-

topher and Casey Lucero.

She remarried in Janu-

ary of 1997 to Johnny

Towery in Minot. They

moved to Idaho where

Amy managed a gas sta-

tion and they also lived in

New York for a time

where she was a car sales-

man. Even though their

marriage ended Johnny

and Amy still remained

friends.

Amy moved back to

Minot in 2006 where she

worked for a time at Ryan

Chevrolet. She then went

back to gaming and

worked for Minot Hockey

Boosters at the Blind

Duck and then started a

job at the Postal Service as

a mail carrier.

Through her disability

Amy made life-long

friends along the way.

Amy enjoyed reading,

going to lake, fishing, 80’s

music, playing cards espe-

cially Pinochle, and

Screw Your Neighbor,

bingo, black jack, con-

certs, going to Bismarck to

get Big Boy pizza burgers,

going to the fair to social-

ize, and cooking to bring

friends and family to-

gether. She loved soup be-

cause soup fixes every-

thing.

She was a member of

Bethany Lutheran Church

in Minot.

Her loving family in-

cludes:

Son, Casey (Tracey) Lu-

cero, Oklahoma City, OK;

grandchildren, Allerah,

Michael, Logan, and Au-

bree; brother, Harry

Thrailkill, Minot; sister,

Vivian (Rodger) Padgett,

Norfolk, VA; step-sister,

Wanda Brooks, Surry, VA;

sister-in-law, Julie Thrail-

kill, Minot; nephews,

Jacob (Sophia), Liam

(Brooklyn), Matthew, and

Rodger (Alicia) Jr.; life-

long friends, Tammy

Zietz, Melissa Locken,

and Tracy Murray; her

beloved furbabies, Chloe,

Izzy, and Squeaks; and

numerous aunts, uncles,

cousins, great-nieces and

great-nephews.

She was preceded in

death by her parents;

grandparents; son, Chris-

topher Lucero; and broth-

er, Eddie “Butch” Thrail-

kill.

Memorial Service:

Tuesday, February 1,

2022, at 1:00 p.m. at

Bethany Lutheran

Church, Minot.

The service will be
