Jacqueline Marie (Sesslin) Sanofsky

July 20, 1937-Dec. 6, 2021

Jacqueline Marie (Sess-

lin) Sanofsky, 84, of

Moorhead passed away

peacefully at her home on

December 6, following a

lengthy illness. Jackie

was born in Anamoose,

ND on July 20, 1937, to

Albert and Josephine

(Seefeld) Sesslin. She

grew up in Minot where

she attended St. Leo’s

Catholic School.

Jackie married Albert

Sanofsky on June 13,

1959, at St. Leo’s Catholic

Church. They resided in

Minot and Missoula, MT,

before moving to Moor-

head in 1971, where they

raised their two

daughters. Jackie worked

as a hairdresser, in food

service and drove school

bus for Richards Tran-

sportation for several

years. In her spare time

Jackie enjoyed playing

bridge where she was very

competitive. She had a

creative side which she

expressed in home

decorating, painting

matching

mother/daughter

sweatshirts, and en-

couraging others in their

artistic expressions. In

her later years she took a

painting class and pro-

duced several works that

have become family heir-

looms. She spent every

summer at the family ca-

bin on Lake Audubon and

especially enjoyed those

weeks when her

grandchildren stayed with

her, and she could share

her love of late-night ice

cream with them. They

learned many life lessons

and several new words

from Grandma Jackie.

She was always interested

in what they were in-

terested in, and they did a

lot of crafts together. No

grandchild could have

had a better friend. At Au-

dubon, she was known for

her flower beds that pro-

duced blooms all summer

long. She enjoyed telling

how the cabin site was

treeless agricultural land

when her parents bought

the lot in the early 1960s

but with a lot of watering

and roto-tilling it became

the wooded oasis it is to-

day.

Jackie is survived by:

Al, her husband of 62

years; her daughters,

Lynn (Darryl) Revier,

Coleharbor, ND, their

children, Andrew and

Kaylee, and Allison (Greg)

Krieger, Galesburg, ND,

their children, Emily,

Erin, and Christina; five

great-grandchildren; one

sister, Kathleen (Ron)

Gonsalves, Las Vegas, NV,

and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in

death by: her parents; sis-

ter, June Snyder;

brothers-in-law, Alvin

“Buzz” Varty and Joe

Snyder; infant twin broth-

ers, Alfred, and Jerome;

and granddaughter

Lindsey Revier.
