Keith Mogren

Keith Mogren, 68, Ken-

mare, died Saturday, Oc-

tober 16, 2021 in a Ken-

mare hospital.

Keith was born on July

1, 1953, a son of Ival and

Melba “Ruth” (Schryver)

Mogren in Kenmare, ND.

He was raised and educat-

ed in Kenmare, graduating

from Kenmare High

School in 1971. He furth-

ered his education by at-

tending Hansen’s Trade

School.

On July 21, 1973, Keith

was united in marriage to

Debi Norrie They made

their home in Kenmare,

where they raised their

three children, Dwayne,

Danny and Denyce. Keith

worked as a mechanic for

Savelkoul Ford, Trails

West IH Dealership and

Gooseneck Implement, re-

tiring in 2008. He made

many life-long friends in

his years working on com-

bines. His retirement

years led to farming and

ranching with his son

Danny at K & D farms.

He enjoyed slow coun-

try drives, sleepovers with

the grandchildren, hunt-

ing and fishing at

Smishek Lake, and happy

hour in the shop. Keith

was a member of Elmdale

Lutheran Church, Niobe,

ND, Burke County Farm-

ers Union, and the Pulse

Grain Association.

He is survived by: Wife

Debi; children: Dwayne

(Alesha) Mogren, Dan

(Shelly) Mogren, Denyce

“Necey” Helmers;

Grandchildren: Wyatt

Mogren, Kasey, Kiely,

Cole Mogren, Gage and

Brickston Holter, Gloria

and Vivian Helmers; Si-

blings: Ruth Ann (Leon)

Larshus; John (Devra)

Mogren and Lance

Mogren; in-law’s: Marie

Mogren, Sheri (Steve)

Fuller, Butch (Connie)

Norrie; and several nieces,

nephews and cousins who

also survive.

Keith was preceded in

death by: his parents, son

David, brothers LeRoy

and Bruce, son-in-law

Zack Helmers, and grand-

son Collin Mogren and

in-laws Bud and Betty

Norrie.

Visitation: One hour

prior to the service at the

church.

day, October 23, 2021 at

11 am at Nazareth Luth-

eran Church, Kenmare

eran Cemetery, Niobe, ND
