Thomas A. Roering, 46,

Bowbells, died Sunday,

September 12, 2021 in

Bowbells.

Thomas Aaron Roering

was born October 10,

1974, a son of John and

Susan (Christiansen)

Roering in Kenmare, ND.

He was raised in the

Bowbells area, where he

spent countless hours at

his grandpa Christiansen’s

farm. Tom attended

Bowbells school, graduat-

ing from Bowbells High

School in 1993.

Following his gradua-

tion, Tom worked in

Elevator Construction, be-

fore assisting local farm-

ers. He worked for the

Bauer farm, Brekhus farm,

and the past seven years

working for the Bohl farm

in Bowbells.

In 2002 a daughter, Ara-

bella, was born and he

took great joy in attending

her events, and watching

her graduate and attend

college.

Community was very

important to Tom. He was

very active with the

Bowbells Fire and Rescue

Team, in fact, at the age of

13, he became the young-

est certified firefighter in

the state of North Dakota.

By 2007, he would rise to

the level of Fire Chief, a

title he proudly held until

2020. He also served on

the Bowbells Ambulance.

In his ‘spare time,’ Tom

enjoyed spending time

hunting and fishing. He

was a loving son, brother,

father, uncle and friend

and will be deeply

missed.

Tom is survived by:

Mother: Susan Christian-

sen; Daughter Arabella

Roering; Siblings: Shawn

(Renee) Roering, Teresa

(Mclain) Morawski;

Nephews and niece:

Shania, Andrew, Bruin,

Briar and Bauer.

Several cousins also

survive.

Tom was preceded in

death by: his father John,

maternal grandparents

Andrew (Gladys) Chris-

tiansen and paternal

grandparents Clarence

(Ernestine) Roering.
