Friday, August 6, 2021, at

Trinity Hospital, Minot,

ND.

Doran Arthur Korgel

was born April 30, 1937,

the son of Arthur and

Agnes (Hambek) Korgel,

in Minot. He was raised

on a farm located

northeast of Minot and

educated in Minot.

Doran married Elaine

Kupser on August 19,

1957, in Minot, ND. They

made their home in

Minot, where they raised

their four children, Larry,

Tammy, Kevin and Kurtis.

Doran worked for the Har-

rington Brothers Lives-

tock, and for the City of

Minot in the Water and

Sewer Department.

Elaine passed away on

June 25, 2014. Following

her death, he continued to

reside on the family farm.

He was a member of St.

Leo the Great Catholic

Church, Minot.

Doran enjoyed hobby

farming including beef

cattle, horses, ducks,

geese, chickens, turkeys

and rabbits. Throughout

his life, he also enjoyed

playing softball, deer

hunting, fishing, travel-

ling and his cattle dogs.

His loving family in-

cludes: children, Larry

Korgel, Minot, Tammy

Seltveit, Sebring, FL,

Kevin Korgel, Minot, and

Kurtis Korgel, Minot;

three grandchildren, Tia

(Levi) Heller, Cody (Kay-

la) Mueller and Andrew

Kuhn; 5

great-grandchildren, Gra-

dy Mueller, Gus Heller,

Maya Mueller, Emma

Heller, and Kye Mueller;

brother-in-law, Tony

(Lois) Kupser; and

sister-in-law, Eliene

Kupser; and numerous

nieces, nephews and

cousins.

Doran was preceded in

death by: his parents;

wife, Elaine; an infant

son; son-in-law, Greg

Seltveit; brothers, Ken-

neth (Roxanne) Korgel,

Lenhart (Patricia) Korgel;

brothers-in-law, Daniel

Kupser, and George

Kupser.

al: Tuesday, August 17,

2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St.

Leo the Great Catholic

Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill

Memorial Park, Minot,

ND.

Visitation: Monday

from 5 to 7 p.m. at

eral Home, Minot.
