Elaine D. (Olson) Moseson

July 26, 1927-Oct. 13, 2019

Elaine D. (Olson) Mose-

son, 92, of Danvers, MA,

passed away on Sunday,

October 13, 2019. She was

the loving wife of the late

Roger M. Moseson with

whom she shared 64 years

of marriage.

Born in Minot, ND on

July 26, 1927, she was the

daughter of the late Otto

and Julia (Dutter) Olson.

She was raised and edu-

cated in the Minot area

and was a graduate with

honors of Minot Model

High School. She later

furthered her education

with an Associate Degree

in the Arts from Endicott

College, Beverly, MA.

Elaine and her late hus-

band resided in both

Richfield, MN and Ro-

chester, NY before settling

in Danvers in 1976. Elaine

was a Christian Scientist

who attended services in

Ipswich and Newbu-

ryport.

An accomplished artist

with many talents includ-ing painting, weaving, soft

sculpture and needle-

work, Elaine was a

member of the Lexington

Arts and Crafts Society

and the Stoneham Crafts

Society. She taught

soft-sculpture, exhibited

her work in many arts &

craft shows, and partici-

pated in many volunteer

activities throughout her

life. She was always ready

to try new passions (ori-

gami, yoga, or a new re-

cipe) – always sharing her

talents with her friends

and relatives.

She leaves two chil-

dren, Marshall Moseson

and his wife Diann and

Virginia Moseson and her

partner Martha Fahrer,

and many nieces and

nephews, and many dear

friends.

She was predeceased by

her brother Herbert Ol-

son, her sister Judith Ol-

son, and her half-brothers,

Harold, Ernest, and

Charles Olson. Elaine’s

sister Phyllis Truman

passed away shortly after

Elaine on October 25,

2019.

Funeral Services were

held at West Funeral

Home in West Fargo,

N.D., followed by commit-tal at Wheatland Cemetery

in Wheatland, N.D. In

lieu of flowers, donations

in Elaine’s name may be

made to Northshore Elder
