Gregory Herman

Gregory Herman, 57,

Minot, passed away on

Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at

a Minot hospital. Gregory

was born on July 24, 1963

in Minot to Vernon Sr.

and Jeanie (Berdahl) Her-

man. He was raised and

educated in the Minot and

later Stanley, ND area,

graduating from Stanley

High School in 1981.

After graduation, Gregory

briefly worked in the

rodeo and oil fields before

joining the U.S. Army in

December of 1983. He was

honorably discharged in

1987. Gregory then at-

tended Minot State

University where he

would earn a Bachelor’s

degree in both Chemistry

and Biology. Gregory

started his final career in

the city of Minot, first as

part of their sanitation

division, then at the water

treatment plant before re-

tiring. Gregory loved be-

ing on his computer and

was a huge fan ofthe

World of Warcraft series.

He enjoyed collecting

comics and reading. Gre-

gory also loved to play

poker, participating in

two World Series of Poker

events and placing in the

money on one. Gregory is

survived by his brothers,

Vernon Herman, Jr. and

his wife Dawn (nee Green-

up) and JefferyHerman

and his wife Wendy

(nee-Dubourt); sister, Deb-

by Redfern; four nephews

and 3 nieces. He was pre-

ceded in death by his

parents and an infant

brother. There will be a

service at a later date.
