Vicki Vail

Vicki Lynn Vail passed

away suddenly from

colon cancer, on Friday,

April 2, 2021, while living

at the Sanford Hospice

House in Fargo, ND.

Vicki Lynn Bartram was

born on May 11, 1957, in

Minot, North Dakota, to

Barbara J. (Salveson) and

Clarence V. Bartram. She

was the oldest of 3 chil-

dren, followed by brother

Kevin, and youngest

brother Joey.

She attended grade

school in Minot and gra-

duated from high school

in Surrey. She also at-

tended Minot State

University where she

played basketball.

Vicki was married to

Brian Lawrence Vail in

Minot, ND, on Valentine’s

Day, 1994. The couple

then moved to Fargo, ND,

and their daughter Annie

Rose Vail was born on Oc-

tober 8, 1996.

The family moved to

Hawley, MN, in 2003,

where Annie went to

school, and moved to an

acreage in rural Hitterdal,

MN, in 2015.

Vicki was a great lover

of animals her entire life,

she always had pet dogs

and cats, as well as horses

and a raccoon. She was

active in dog obedience,

as a competitor, instruc-

tor, and evaluator, as well

as 4-H. Vicki worked most

recently at Lake Region

Healthcare – Barnesville

Clinic.

Vicki was a kind and

outgoing person, who

never met a stranger. She

was a friend to all and

will be greatly missed by

everyone who knew her.

The family of Vicki

would like to extend their

gratitude to the staff of

Sanford Fargo Hospice,

for the care and compas-

sion they provided every

day.

She is survived by: her

husband, daughter,

parents, and brothers,

Kevin (Lori) Bartram and

Joey Bartram.

She was preceded in

death by: her

grandparents.

A memorial service

will be held on Saturday,

April 10, 2021 at 11:00

AM with a visitation one

hour before the service at

Wright Funeral Home,

Hawley, MN.
