Paul R. Peterson, 74,

Crosby passed away Sun-

day April 18th, 2021 at

Marian Manor Healthcare

Center in Glen Ullin, ND

surrounded by his im-

mediate family.

Per Paul’s request, no

funeral service will be

held. A private graveside

service will be held at the

North Dakota Veterans

Cemetery Mandan, ND.

Paul was born on De-

cember 10th, 1946 in Min-

neapolis, MN to Richard &

Constance Peterson. He

joined Norm & Connie

Anderson’s family in

February 1964 in Luverne,

MN. They moved to Cros-

by, ND in October 1964

and he graduated from

Crosby High School in

1965.

In 1968, Paul was draft-

ed into the US Army. He

served in the Vietnam

War until his honorable

discharge. For the next 40

years, he served in vari-

ous law enforcement posi-

tions as well as volunteer

fire fighter and EMS.

His greatest joy was his

grandkids.

Paul is survived by: his

wife, Betty of Crosby;

children Heidi (Andrew)

Peltz and children Kenedi

& Malachi of Glen Ullin,

ND; Jennifer (Lucas)

Aufenkamp and children

Eliab, Malley, Jaben, Jude,

& Brynn of Devils Lake,

ND; Aaron (Stacey) Peter-

son and children Auna,

Sonja, Aksel of Minot,

ND. His parents Norm &

Connie Anderson of Ply-

mouth, MN; siblings Gra-

cia (Mike) Lapke; Julie

(Dean)

Anderson-Simonson;

Mary Froehlich; Brad

(Sandi) Anderson; Angela

(Carey) Jones.

He is preceded in death

by: his birth mother Con-

stance Peterson and

grandson Silas Aufen-

kamp.
