Matthew Lawrence Loh-
man, 30, passed away
peacefully at his home in
Minot on March 5, 2021.
Matthew was born on
February 25, 1991, in Car-
michael, CA, to Marty and
Lisa Lohman. The family
resided in Orangevale,
CA, for the first 2 years of
Matthew’s life and moved
to Fargo in 1993. In 1999,
the family moved to Rock-
lin, CA, where Matthew
attended Whitney High
School. During his high
school years, Matthew
was active in wrestling
and soccer, and he gra-
duated in 2009. He moved
to Minot, ND, in 2012 and
began working for
Morelli’s. After his time
with Morelli’s, he operat-
ed All Pro Towing in
Minot, starting in 2016.
Matthew was a
fun-loving, kindhearted,
caring man who always
had a smile on his face.
He loved kids and an-
imals, and he enjoyed
hunting, fishing, running,
drinking beer with friends
and grilling. Matthew was
always a giving person
and would do absolutely
anything for anyone. He
was a thoughtful and
compassionate soul with
deep love for friends and
family, who now grieve
his loss and remember his
profound impact on their
lives.
His memory will forev-
er live on through those
who loved him, including
his parents, Lisa and Mar-
ty, of Fargo; his signifi-
cant other, Codie Kemp,
and her daughters, Anna
and Bailey, of Minot; his
brothers, Chris, Nathan
(Cassandra) and Zachary,
all of Fargo; nieces Syd-
ney and Kinsley, of Fargo;
grandmothers, Katherine
Haglund, of Casselton,
and Catherine Lawson, of
Donnybrook; as well as
many aunts, uncles and
cousins. He is also sur-
vived by his furry family:
his dogs, Axle and Dallas,
and his cat, Binx.
He was preceded in
death by his grandfathers,
Lawrence Lohman and
Curtis Lawson.
There will be a celebra-tion of life honoring
Matthew on March 13,
2021, at Sleep Inn &
Suites (2400 10th St. SW)
in Minot, ND, at 2 p.m.
All family and friends are
welcome.
